Review- Beauty by Shea/Hydracentials Unrefined African Shea Butter Review

I was given the opportunity to review unfiltered shea butter by Hydracentials. I was very excited about this! I love to make my own beauty products when I have the time. This shea butter is different than most because it is unrefined. It’s just pure shea butter! Nothing else is added to it. This shea butter is “naturally rich in essential vitamins for beautiful skin. This  shea butter will nourish your skin with Vitamins A, E, F & K. Use this product daily and often for beautiful, moisturized, luminous skin.”

When I received this product, I had making a lotion in mind. I have terrible feet. One might confuse my feet with man feet if I didn’t have my toenails painted. One man specifically comes to mind, Fred Flintstone.

flintstoneNot a good thing for any woman to have! I made a concoction of this wonderful shea butter, some essential oils, and coconut oil. That’s it. Let me tell you, this stuff is working wonders! The shea butter is so smooth. You can put a little bit in your hand and it starts to melt beautifully. I put my home made lotion and my feet at night and throw some socks on. In the morning, my feet feel so good. The are softer than before and just over all feel better. I have been using this whenever I have a chance! It has made such a difference!

The only thing that I did not like about this product was the packaging. It comes in a bag and is sometimes hard to get out of the bag without making a small mess. I believe that if it was packaged in some type of tub, it would be easier to access. Overall though,  I do love this product. I can’t wait to make more stuff with it! There are so many recipes out there to try.

It’s a great price for the amount of product you are getting.

Have you used shea butter to make any beauty products? If so, what have you made? I’d love ideas for things to make in the future!

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
